Client Requirements

Bushel & Peck Books needed a scalable eCommerce platform to support their expanding online business. Project Challenges

  • Custom Shopify Theme Development: One of the main challenges was designing and developing a custom Shopify theme that captured the brand's unique identity while also supporting an expanding product catalogue. Approach and Results

To meet the client's requirements, we started by conducting thorough research to understand the needs of Bushel & Peck Books and their customers. We then built the platform using Shopify with a fully custom theme that reflected the brand’s visual identity while delivering a smooth and intuitive user experience. The custom theme was designed to handle a growing book catalogue while maintaining fast performance.

Multiple payment gateways, including Visa, Venmo, PayPal, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and American Express, were integrated to provide customers with secure and diverse payment options. We also integrated Gorgias for live chat support, enabling real-time customer assistance without compromising platform performance.

Our focus on scalability ensured that the platform could handle high traƯic during peak periods, such as book releases and holiday sales. We successfully implemented a recommendation engine that personalized book suggestions for each user, enhancing engagement and driving repeat purchases.
